After arriving at Kathmandu International Airport, collecting of baggage, you will be welcomed by our staff than transferred to the Hotel
Pokhara is a heaven on earth, according to the book of A. Gillimpus, who visited Pokhara's natural beauty, attracts eyes from all corners of the globe. It is located 200 km from Kathmandu, which is taking roughly 5-6 hours on bus and around 30-35 min by flight. Pokhara is famous for a plethora of natural beauty, historical sites and rich bio-diversity. It has a balanced climate and favored destination for visitors for all purposes, including study, research, adventure, trekking or religious trip. The Annapurana Base Camp Trek, one of the eight most beautiful in the world, starts from Pokhara.
Trisuli River offers an excellent choice for short rafting 15 to 20 km, for those who are in route Pokhara after 3 to 4 hour drive from Kathmandu; those looking for a short river trip without the challenge of huge rapids, but with some really exciting rapids with beautiful scenery and a relatively peaceful environment. River is originated from Tibet and Mt. Langtang one of the three major trekking area of Nepal. For rafting; please bring with your shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable foot wear for in the raft, warm clothing for the evening a towel, sun block and camera. After rafting approximately 4 hours drive to Pokhara.
- International Mountaineering Museum – The Museum is situated 5 km south from Lakeside. We can enjoy the unique view of the three massive Mountain Peak; Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu which are above 8,000 meters with our single eyesight and no place in the world offers us such panoramic view. It provides information on mountaineering, the world's mountain system, mountain cultures, environments, prominent people in mountain history, mountain geography, ecology, exhibition of mountaineering, history and implied methods.
- Devi's fall (Patalle Chhango) – Locally known as Patale Chhango was named Davis fall after a Swish lady was swept away and died in 31 July 1961. The water flowing from Phewa Lake shows a wonderful fall. We find hollow sandy part and a heavy fall of water within its natural trench. It looks really amazing scene of rainbow with sunlight when a volume of water falls in the deep rocky gorge and produces the water vapor especially on summer.
- Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave – A sacred cave under a waterfall and one of Nepal's longest caves (2950meters). The cave was allegedly discovered in the 16th century by some local men who stumbled upon it when cleaning some grass. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. There are two different sections in the cave. Second section is often closed during monsoon season due to access water from the waterfalls coming through.
- World Peace Pagoda – It is a massive Buddhist stupa located on a hill top just southern hill of Phewa Lake. This stupa is the symbol of peace where the huge idols of Lord Buddha from Japan, Sri Lanka and Thailand have been installed. From here one can enjoy the breathtaking view of Hilalayan ranges, lakes and the Pokhara city.
- Boating on Phewa Lake – The Lake covering an area of 4.43 sq km and 24 meters (79 feet) depth; Second largest lake in Nepal. The reflection of snowcapped high mountains of Annapurn Range and Mt. Fishtail on the surface water of the Phewa Lake creates unprecedented scenery for all the visitors. you can enjoy with close up wonderful view with brightly painted wooden boats and sailboats on the Lake. Barahi Temple is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake just offshore from the lakeside. There are major celebrations during Dashain, the biggest Nepali festival, which normally fall in the month of October.
The Chitwan National Park, Nepal's first national park lies at the foot of the Mahabharat range in the inner Terai lowlands of Chitwan. Covering an area of 932 sq. km this is the most well preserved conservation area in all of Asia.
The park is rich in flora and fauna and has a fascinating variety of mammals and birds. The park preserves some of the last habitats for endangered species like the greater one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger.
The reserve was designated a national park in 1973 and was listed as a UNSCO World Heritage Site.

Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu
- Bhaktapur: There are main three major cities of the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur known as Bhadgaon and Local Newari people call Khopung also. There are many monuments including pagodas, 55 windows palace, Shikhara style monuments, courtyards and Buddhists shrines and monasteries. The Durbar Square was the seat of the Mall Kings and the present structures were erected from the 12th to the 18th century. Bhaktapur is located at around 12 km away to east from Kathmandu city.
Hence, one can observe muscular craved, as the trademark of the city, into various temples of as the guardian of the city and of the Gods. Bhaktapurians are proud inhabitants of their city and culture. Most of the women would be seen in their traditional, Newari, attire, who would do their laundry in public - but artistically crafted - taps, farmers would be seen here and there carrying vegetables, This city has preserved the Newari value as a mother would keep their children safe, so it would be not hard to feel the aroma of ancient Newari culture once you reach the Bhaktapur.
The city is considered as the neat city, compared to other two cities, where tradition and modernization walk in sustainability. Bhaktapur city is one of the beautiful UNESCO Heritage Sites of Nepal. - Bouddha: Boudha is of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu, visible as soon as you land the Tribhuvan International Airport. The stupa stands on a three-tiered platform raised ofer the crossed rectangles in order to bring out; it is 36 meter high and the largest stupas in South Asia with countless monasteries surrounding it. Situated 8 km to the east of downtown Kathmandu.
Built in the shape of a mandala designed to replicate the Gyangtse of Tibet, the stupa was renovated by Licchhavi rulers in the 8th century. The location of the stupa is interesting as it once lay on the ancient trade route to Tibet and it was here that Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers for centuries.
During Buddha dirthday of Lord Buddha (April-May) on the full moon day a religious procession takes place with the icons of Buddha on a chariot. During lhosar festival (Jan-Feb) the pilgrims worship the Buddhist deities, light the incense and butter lamp day and night. The stupa is decorated with prayer flags and lights. Every twelve years a special ceremony is also observed denoting the fact that it took 12 years to build the stupa.
On each side is a pair of the all-seeing-eyes of the Buddha symbolizing awareness. The canopy has 13 stages. At ground level there is a brick wall with 147 niches and 108 images of the meditational Buddha inset behind copper prayer wheels. Bouddha have been declared the UNESCO World Heritage Site. - Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Hindu. Situated 5 km east of Kathmandu City center on the banks of the Bagmati River. "Pashupati literally means Lord of Animals".
The main pagoda style temple has a gilded roof, four sides covered in silver and wood carvings of the finest quality. Temples dedicated to several other Hindu and Buddhist deities surround the temple of Pashupatinath.
Nearby is the temple of Guheshwori dedicated to Shiva's consort Sati Devi. Cremation of Hindus take place on raised platforms along the river. Only Hindus are allowed inside the gates of the main temple. The inner sanctum has a Shiva lingam and outside sits the largest statue of Nandi the bull, the vehicle of Shiva. There are hundreds of Shiva lingam within the compound. The big Maha Shivaratri festival in spring attracts hundreds of thousands of devotees from within Nepal and from India.
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites. It is also a cremation site where the last rites of Hindus are performed. The site and events at cremation is not for the faint hearted; still visitors are seen watching curiously from across the river from the hill. Visit Pashupatinath Temple for an out-of-this-world experience. - Simbhu (Swayambhu): Find peace and prayers on the little hillock of Swaymbhunath in the 3 km west of Kathmandu Valley. Also known as the "Monkey Temple" and ancient named Simbhu. Swayambhuh sits atop its hill, overlooking most parts of the valley. This is a good place to catch panoramic views of the city. The site itself has stood as a hallmark of faith and harmony for centuries. The glory of Kathmandu Valley is said to have started from this point.
Swayambhunath is one of the holiest Buddhist Chaityas in Nepal. It is said to have evolved spontaneously when the valley was created out of a primordial lake more than 2,000 years ago. This stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal and has numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises.
Legend has it that Swayambhu was born out of a lotus flower that bloomed in the middle of a lake that once spread across the Kathmandu Valley once was. The largest image of the Sakyamuni Buddha in Nepal sits on a pedestal on the western boundary of Swayambhu. Behind the hilltop is a temple dedicated to Manjushree the Goddess of learning. Chaityas, statues and shrines of Buddhist and Hindu deities fill the stupa complex. The base of the hill is almost entirely surrounded by prayer wheels that were recently installed. Devotees can be seen circumambulating the stupa at all times.
The stupa sits atop the hill and the exceedingly 365 stone steps leading all the way to the top magnificent view of Kathmandu valley and the breath taking panoram fo the snow hmalayan range. However, there is also a road going up almost to the top and you can drive up. A large number of Buddhists and Hindus alike visit Swayambhunath throughout the day. Swayambhu is perhaps the best place to observe religious harmony in Nepal.
